Stone Age and Primitive Arts Festival

Third Annual Stone Age and Primitive Arts Festival
Ochlockonee River State Park
Friday, February 12th to Sunday, February 14th, 2010

See how early man lived and worked.  Participate in demonstrations of flint knapping, the art of projective point fashioning; along with deer hide brain tanning, bone, wood, and antler carving.  Observe Old and New world bow and arrow construction, basket weaving, and early pottery.  Atlatl throwing and primitive bow and arrow competitions are scheduled.  An auction will be held on Saturday to auction off donated artwork.

Ochlockonee River State Park is located about 15 miles from Carrabelle Beach RV Resort.

Carrabelle Boat Club mentioned in Magazine

BoatU.S. Magazine provides an intimate look at some of the most interesting waterfront communities around the country.
